Fasting diet plans are a fun way to detox one“s body from toxic compounds that collect coming from all the processed meals and synthetic substances that we consume. Fasting diets is also a good means for a short term fat reduction plan you can use to initiate a long term weight loss program. A good example of a healthy fasting diet is cabbage soup diet, a 7 day diet plan that concerns eating cabbage soup and water, along with a few restricted set of foods.

Cabbage soup gives your body a healthy supply of vitamins and minerals while you’re on a fasting diet. This will allow you to shed 10 to 15 pounds within only a week on a regular supply of vitamins. The recipe is composed of 6 large green onions, 2 green peppers, 2 cans of diced or whole tomatoes, 3 carrots, 10 oz of mushrooms, a bunch of celery, 1/2 head cabbage, 1 package of Lipton soup mix, optional 1 or 2 cubes bouillon and 1 48oz can V8 juice, along with seasonings such as salt, pepper, parsley, garlic powder, and so on. In addition to these ingredients, you may also adjust the recipe so that it will not be monotonous through the entire duration of the fasting diet.

As for the fasting diet plan itself, during the first day, take in just the cabbage soup and any fruit except banana. You can drink unsweetened tea, black coffee and water. For the next day, consume fresh, uncooked or cooked veggies except dry beans, peas, and sweet corn, and also much cabbage soup that you want. Do not eat fruits. For dinner, eat a big baked potato. For the third day, eat as much as fruit, vegetables, and soup that you like. For the fourth day, have 8 bananas and drink as many glasses of skim milk, combined with the cabbage soup. For the fifth day, you can feed on meat by means of 300-500g of beef, broiled or baked skinless chicken, or broiled fish. Eat the cabbage soup at least once. For the sixth day, eat ground beef and fresh veggies or salad, along with at least one serving of cabbage soup. On the final day, you can begin eating brown rice, unsweetened fruit juices, and vegetables, with the usual cabbage soup.
